The route
From the Apsley Hotel, north on the Edenhope-Apsley Road. Rolling country through pasture and stringybark stands. Lunch options: bring snacks; nothing between the towns. Finish at Edenhope’s Courthouse Information Centre for a cool drink.

Top up at Apsley (the Apsley Hotel has counter meals before you leave). No supplies between. Carry 3L water minimum.
Safety
Quiet road; harvester traffic October–December. Hi-vis recommended. No mobile coverage on long stretches.
