Day 1 — Horsham to Murtoa (35km)
Morning at the Horsham VIC. Drive 30 min east to Murtoa. Stick Shed tour (open most weekends and by arrangement — check at the Horsham VIC before driving). Lunch at Murtoa Hotel. Afternoon: town heritage walk; Lake Marma fishing/walking. Sleep Murtoa.
Day 2 — Murtoa to Wartook Valley (110km)
West via Horsham. Lunch in Horsham. Afternoon: drive to Wartook Valley; Mt Stapylton summit or Lake Wartook dam walk. Sleep Wartook in a farm cottage.
Day 3 — Wartook to Horsham (75km)
Morning: McKenzie Falls Bluff Lookout. Lunch Wartook General Store. Drive back to Horsham via Natimuk and Mt Arapiles lookout.
