Pomonal to Halls Gap Connector Walk
The 14km connector walk from Pomonal to Halls Gap — through state forest, mallee scrub and over a low pass, ending in the heart of the Grampians. One-way; car-shuttle or two-vehicle arrangement required.

The track
Follow signed walking tracks from Pomonal township into the Pomonal State Forest. The track climbs gently through stringybark and box-ironbark forest before joining the Grampians National Park boundary. The descent into Halls Gap is via the Wonderland edge tracks.
Logistics
One-way hike — leave a vehicle in Halls Gap (or use a friend’s lift). Halls Gap to Pomonal by road is 15 km via Pomonal Road; allow 15 minutes for the shuttle.
