The route
Walk west on Federal Street to Yurunga Homestead (signposted). The homestead is open on selected days — check ahead with Hindmarsh Shire. Return to town via the historic Anzac Park and the 1920s shopfronts.
What you see
Yurunga is an Edwardian-Federation homestead in remarkably intact condition. Period furnishings, original outbuildings, mature European garden. Rainbow’s commercial strip carries some of the cleaner Federation and Art Deco shopfronts of the region.
