Sea Lake Silo and Lake Tyrrell Boardwalk Walk
A short 1.2km town-and-lake walk taking in the Sea Lake silo art and the Lake Tyrrell viewing boardwalk. Combine with a sunset drive for one of the great Wimmera Mallee evenings.

The route
From the VIC, walk 200m east to the Sea Lake silo (Travis Vinson’s Skye and the Wheat Lord). Return to your vehicle and drive 7km north to Lake Tyrrell. Park at the viewing platform. Walk the sealed boardwalk (300m) to the lake edge.
What you see
The Sea Lake silo art, the Lake Tyrrell viewing platform with interpretive signage, and — in the right conditions — the mirror reflection on the salt crust at sunrise or sunset.
Best time
Sunset for the lake. Stay through dusk in the new-moon weeks for the Milky Way.
