A weekend pairing Horsham, Natimuk’s tiny climbing village, and Mt Arapiles — one of the great climbing crags of the southern hemisphere, with a panoramic vehicle-accessible lookout. 120km loop, sealed.

Day 1 — Horsham to Natimuk (35km)
Morning at the Horsham VIC for Mt Arapiles climbing-area map. Drive 35 min west to Natimuk. Lunch at the National Hotel Natimuk (Wimmera-famous parmas). Afternoon: Mt Arapiles lookout drive (sealed road to summit, panoramic views over flat farms to the Grampians). Optional: short walk to the Pinnacle (2.8km return). Watch the climbers from the Centenary car park. Sleep Natimuk (Centenary Park caravan park) or back to Horsham.
Day 2 — Mitre Lake + Horsham (85km)
Drive 25 min west to Mitre Lake — small permanent lake, picnic shelters, bird watching. Continue 35 min east back to Horsham via Goroke (optional bakery stop). Wimmera River walk in Horsham as afternoon wind-down.
